EightOne Creative worked with Philip Johnson Salon/Spa in partnership with AVEDA, The National Audubon Society of Missouri and seven St. Louis businesses to create an Earth Month charity event: Cut Loose: A Taste of Central West End South. The event had two main goals: raise money for The Audubon Society of Missouri Clean Water Initiative and introduce people to what the Central West End South neighborhood has to offer, ideally creating long-term business for all the great restaurants, bars and shops in the area.

EightOne Creative developed the name, branding and marketing plan. A combination of print and web materials were produced to market the event, including postcards, outdoor ads, posters, custom website/social media images and t-shirts for event attendees.

In August 2016, the event was named 'Best Co-Branded Campaign' by Salon Today Magazine in their annual competition that honors great marketing and promotion ideas that have been tested in the salon environment and have proven their success.
