The Project
EightOne Creative was brought on by the owner of Nutshellz to serve as Creative Director and develop a complete brand experience, including fonts, color palette, product packaging, taglines, social media images, graphical elements to incorporate into print and digital materials and a master brand guide for use within the company. 

Professional branding gives a product or business a voice. Nutshellz’s brand voice is: Strong, tough, masculine and energetic. I took the existing logo and put more of a focus on the logomark to foster better brand awareness and recognition. To add visual interest to their website, packaging and social media content, I used high-quality images of carbon fiber to visually reinforce the strength of the product. Orange is inexorably linked to radiant energy and in sports, orange symbolizes strength and endurance which became the base of the new color palette.
The Client
Nutshellz is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and they produce impact-resistant, carbon fiber-reinforced athletic cups and patented jock shorts that are superior in quality to any other product on the market.
