St. Louis Pride Fest
The Project
EightOne Creative worked with Pride St. Louis to create a new logo for the 2025 Pride Fest in downtown St. Louis to celebrate and commemorate 45 years of the festival and the Pride St. Louis organization. St. Louis Pride Fest is one of the largest pride festivals in the midwest with 300,000+ attendees each year.
This was their first year collaborating with a professional designer for branding and marketing materials, so I set out to create something that would truly stand out and elevate the festival’s identity. The logo pays homage to the first Pride Fest in 1980 with a retro-inspired aesthetic, while incorporating the full spectrum of the progressive Pride flag—a nod to the inclusive spirit of today’s Pride movement. The bold, lowercase typography adds a modern touch, and the directional lines paired with the rainbow gradient bring in a vibrant, vintage energy.
From printed materials and enamel pins to special edition pride cans created in collaboration with 4 Hands Brewing Company, and a full suite of digital assets, this cohesive identity brought consistency and impact across every touchpoint—helping make 2025 a truly standout year for Pride in St. Louis.
